Various [jv 16 Power Tools, K-lite, Spybot]

hey [1st time poster here],

anyways, I came across the site, www.oldversion.com and am pretty impressed with it. Good work in keeping tabs with older software. In the past, I've wanted older version and didnt know where to go, till now. [though I've moved onto linux mandrake for now]

I looked through the list of offered programs, and realized I could suggest some others that could help others.


Programs include:

Spybot: search and destroy - http://security.kolla.de/
good spyware remover, also deletes IE history, cookies, etc.

JV16 Power Tools -http://www.macecraft.com/
really good registry editor; was freeware - now only trial ware !

K-lite
I noticed this already available; though the 1.71 version isn't; which if needed I have, able to supply the site with.

Proxomitron - www.proxomitron.org
A good ad-filter\banner blocker\pop-up stopper. Was my favourite; very customizible; though the site is no longer in operation !


Note that all of these apps are FREEWARE, except for versions of power tools 1.4 and newer.
Also, if www.oldversion.com needs the old versions, I can supply them to the site.

As you can tell the link posted is on an October 2003 posting, so Yes, it can be down. Links dont last forever.

Although still available elsewhere, its great to see new files being added to the main site and being freeware just makes it special. cheers
