when requesting an app, you should atleast give the version your seeking, this makes it easier for someone to find an older version, not everyone who seeks for files knows what the current version number would be for the app in question. So that makes more work, since they would have to locate the developers site, find the current version, then figure out which is the older versions.

you might find alot of the apps listed to do just what you want, and with apps like VNC, which are free, they might save money as well.
