    i just looked on Adobe.com and for version 6.0 it is 15megs.
    Download file size: 15.3 MB
    Download file: Adobe Reader 6.0"

    Installed, this program uses 45 mb of hard drive space.....

    you can probably select a custom install and not install all available options, such as the web browser plugins, and others, that should trim some of the filesize down.

    Are you looking for the Acrobat Reader or Acrobat; the pdf creation title? The reader is free, the creator title is not.
