"where did you see it listed at being 45megs??
i just looked on Adobe.com and for version 6.0 it is 15megs.
Download file size: 15.3 MB
Download file: Adobe Reader 6.0"
Installed, this program uses 45 mb of hard drive space.....
you can probably select a custom install and not install all available options, such as the web browser plugins, and others, that should trim some of the filesize down.Originally posted by p309@Aug 24 2003, 07:32 AM

good find.
For instance, v4.05 English with search for Windows:
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatread....x/rs405eng.exe
Old DOS version of Acrobat Reader.[*]Adobe Acrobat Reader v1.0 for DOS (2.50megs)
Adobe's Acrobat repository
ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/acrobatreader/win/
Anyone know how I can get my hand on Adobe Version 1.0? I need the fdftk.dll file. Desperately...
Thanks
Allen

Are you looking for the Acrobat Reader or Acrobat; the pdf creation title? The reader is free, the creator title is not.Originally posted by FAQS@ http://www.oldversion.com/faq.php
Why do you only have freeware and shareware?
This is not a "warez" site. We are able to legally distribute only freeware and shareware, since they are free.
