    Have you ever tried Aida32?
I don't know if it identifies hardware for which you don't have the drivers or just lists which drivers you do have. The official web site has been taken down, but if you Google it you can probably still find a copy.

Besides those listed by locustfurnace , there are two on Old Versions that
will disclosed some if not all of the hardware.

Look under the "Utilities" Section for

    AIDA32

    Everest Home Edition

I should have also added the Aida 32 ;and Everest Home Edition is in effect
the same software program. The Author use to have a web site and then
joined Everest which changed its name.

    I agree with upper posters,
AIDA32 and derivative "Everest Home Edition" are the most powerful tools.

But even standart Windows allows you to use "systeminfo.exe"
    Start > run > cmd /k systeminfo
