Thread: Help!

    Default Help!

Whenever I try and install the old version I just get an error message saying 'Bootstrap: This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.'

What the bleep do I do about it, I really need msn messenger as I'm part of a youth committee and the rest of them are using it for online meetings.

You can uninstall the older version and perhaps use the newer version. If you can only use the older version - I recommend http://www.mess.be/ for great information of MSN news, including how to use older versions properly. If you can search through the site, you should be able to find all the information you want.

Hmm by the way, I'm not sure I understood clearly which program you're talking about, but anyway you don't actually need MSN messenger (or any old version of it) to chat on MSN ; there are lots of alternatives to it.
aMSN seems to be a nice one, from what it seems (my sister didn't complain about that one, while she did a lot about others such as MirandaIM ... ).
