Usually you can find those on the maxtor website.
Greetings all.
I am seeking an old version of MaxBlast, I think it is like ver .9 or similar, any help would be appreciated.
A Hard Drive utility.
Thanks,

Usually you can find those on the maxtor website.
The oldest version I could find is v 1.09
Maxblast
Disk manager dla systemu DOS.
Maxblast II (v. 1.30)
Najnowszy program instalacyjny dysków Maxtor przeznaczony dla wszystkich systemów Windows, w tym dla Windows 2000 oraz Windows XP.
(Don't know what language this is but the programs are in English.)
Both can be found at this site:
http://www.maxtor.ab.pl/psite.php?ac=down
as pointed out, these can be found on maxtors own web site, and in English
http://www.maxtor.com/en/support/downloads...s/maxblast3.htm
- Maxblast v1.05 (364kbs)
- MaxBlast v1.07 (612kbs)
- MaxBlast v1.08 (550kbss)
- MaxBlast v1.09 (559kbs)
Yes MaxBlast 3 can be found on Maxtor's website. But MaxBlast and MaxBlast II can't be. I know I looked before hunting down the programs I provided links to above. And as I stated, the site might not be in English but the program names listed on the site and the programs themselves are in English. I wouldn't have posted them if I didn't check them first.
You could have a poll survey on what language it is - excuse the pun ;)Originally posted by pun@Feb 9 2004, 10:47 AM

looks Polish.
Website: http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/support/downloads/
Current version: 5
Desired versions: 4
Description: Hard drive utility; partitioning, formatting, etc.
I found version 4 here:

MaxBlast 4 and 5 work for Seagate as well as Maxtor drives, since they were released after Seagate bought Maxor. (And I think Maxtor merged with Quantum before that...)
For older versions, you'd have to look for archives of Maxtor's old websites.
