I need some help please. can you please find me a good decent windows optimizer/performance booster to help my computer perform its best that has features to customise the control panel, because i installed kazaa media desktop and it had two trojans and lots of spyware in it so i uninstalled it and it left some files and a "P2P Networking" Icon or programme in my control panel and i have no idea how to get rid of it. My computer is also running very slow and it used to be extremely fast. I just want it to run like it used to. Any help would be very appreciated.. Thank you

thanks but no luck.... my trojan guard removed the P2P networking process but some files are still there and the p2p networking icon in the control pannel

Did you try running the msconfig to remove these startup files?
To remove the control panel icon you will need to locate the kazaa or whatever p2p apps control panel applet, which should have an extension of .cpl
Open the FIND, select Named, and try *.cpl look for something thats kazaa named or whatever the program is.
You can verify what files each one opens, by clicking on them, to make sure you do not delete the needed ones.
Also, it might be time to learn about making a system backup. Atleast learn to backup your registry.
