I'm unsure of what version I have, but I haven't been wanting to use it, nor Morpheus. I hate how Morpheus 2 uses Java 2, which makes it slow.

I guess I should remove them from my computer. You know, that's funny. How can you say that WinMX is spyware, when Ad-aware 5.83 won't detect it? They might not have updated their Reference file (the file that tells Ad-aware what to detect, the most important thing).

    take my word for it
an easy way to find your version (windows)
find the .exe and right click and hit up the properties section, and hit the "version" tab.

    stick with 2.6 trust me

I'm curious, the WinMX (http://www.winmx.com) website claims that quote: "When you download WinMX, you're getting WinMX and only WinMX, no bundled spyware, no ads, no B.S."

So before I believe you, I must ask how you have found that it contains spyware.

cg9com, are you sure WinMx contains spyware? OldVersion.com only has programs that are freeware and shareware.

Well, you can try this program called: Spybot -- Search & Destroy.

You can read more about it here (as well as get a link to get it):
    http://www.techtv.com/callforhelp/freefile...3404841,00.html

Or you can try this Google search (at techtv.com): http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-...G=Google+Search

Or this site in particular: http://www.spychecker.com

    I hope that helps.
