Hi i am just completely reinstalling everything on my p166, which cannot function under the weight of the thousands of files in the adcache folder that kazaa ver 2.0 puts in the system directory..

i thought i would never share files again!

it was also a relief to find IE before microsoft pretended java didnt exist anymore..
and also msn messenger before the system crash that is ver 5.0 for many people...

my only complaint is that you dont list which vers of windows apply 2 each download. i download some xp software b4 i found stuff that worked on win98...

also the link to kazaa lite seems to be dead..

It does rule. A long time ago oldversion.com didn't have MSN Messenger.

Just wanted to let everyone know how impressed I was with this website - I needed to connect an older computer to the internet with IE - And there was no way it would take any version above 4.

Microsoft don't even acknowledge that they made any software before their current versions, but I downloaded IE3 from here and it's all online and ready to be given to the computer virgin relatives.

    Shout out to OldVersion.com!

 This is by far the most useful website I've come across in a long time..... I've used 4 different "older versions" for my computer here at work because the NEWER versions check for administrator rights..... ;-)

Your website is wonderful! This is a great idea and ever so useful. I've always thought of doing something like this myself, so congrats, and good job. You deserve a pat on the back. Thanks for adding a good site to the ever-growing trash heap that the internet has become.

    Absolutely,

    Fantastic idea - immediate bookmark!

And what an enterprising use for all those old versions of software on old backup cds...
