    The BBC has signed a deal with Real Networks so that if a user clicks a link to download Realplayer from the BBC site they get a spyware, ad-free and expiry free version of the player.

    Whether this is available for non-uk users I am not sure as I am in the UK - give it a try at
    download page

    The BBC argues that it charges for UK residents a licence fee for BBC content and does not support them paying all over again for viewing/listening at the website - I didn't know it did!

    I am located in Spain and the download comes up as a 14 day trial :unsure:

    I thought (but was hoping that it wouldn't) would be the case

    I running it now and it is as decribed for UK users.
