ok just downloaded napster ya ya its old and u might think it sucks right?

well n e ways i want to get past the register stage since there r no napster servers
question is... how?

Well, without changing the executable code of the program there is no way.

I tried it and it still doesn't work. It lets you add files but you still cannot enter a user name, so therefore you can't connect to any OpenNap networks with Napigator, and once you close it you have to enter in your files again. Any other ideas?

Yeah, that what happened to me too... I just need Napster so that I can listen to songs through it... we need to code another dummy file so that Napster recognises that we are already members!

there are about a dozen other good mp3 programs out there, napster had it's day, but there are faster, cleaner programs out there that work just fine. As far as mp3 swapping, it's tough to beat winmx. Get at winmx.com for free kiddies.

I use WinMX every day, and yea it is better than Napster. I just want to use Napster with OpenNap servers to bring back the good ol' days... :P

fill in the info and wat not, generate the info and copy and paste into notepad and save as

"nap.reg" with quotes then import it to the reg

It didn't work for me, I downloaded the last version in the list, and it downloaded okay, then I got a page saying servers not found 404 error, Which one did you download? I made the reg entry and everything..........

napster version 8 is my favorite, so i downloaded that and tried the reg trick, because i like napsters interface for playing music. although, winamp is 100x better.

but anwyays, the trick did work for me.

but, looking through the tabs does bring back memories
