I used to just use WMP to copy songs onto a CD. But when I tried updating to the next version, it wont work. I decided to uninstall 9.0 and go back to the old version, but I can't figure out how to get WMP off my damn computer! I tried just installing 7.4 but it said that I couldn't because I already had the latest version on my computer.

    Please help!

Use XP/2000lite from www.litepc.com and that will do the trick...

If you have XP you could look if you have one of those restore points from before ya installed WMP but I really wouldnt recommend it cuz Ive had only trouble with it when I used XP cuz it only restore some files and some dont so it can really mess things up..

I used to uninstall it manually if I wanted just to install an older version..
You just have to get rid of the reg-keys and some files that WMP looks too see if it is installed..

Just uninstall 9.0 and then use a registry cleaner to remove the left over keys, then re-install 7.4

I think 9 is very good!!!
