    He's looking for 2.10, not 2.1.0.

    The 0 is insignifcant.

It's like putting a zero at the end of a decimal no matter how many I add it will be the same.

    1.2000
    is the same as 1.2

So if i am looking for a program that has a version number 1.2000, it would be 1.2.

Yes, although there are cases when a program's version is refered to as 1.2000 instead of 1.2
This usually happens when there is a version 1.2000, then 1.2001, 1.2002, etc. It's used for clarification.

I've also seen cases (although this isn't the case for Panavue, I'll use them as an example) that the version numbers go 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, ..., 2.8, 2.9, 2.10 (In other words, 2.1 would be first minor modification to Panavue2, while 2.10 would be Tenth minor modification.)
