This is Oldversion remember, just because You do not see why someone wants something this old does not mean it is useless.

Someone might want this for historical reasons. To view the progress of Microsoft's OS's from DOS to their Windows line.

I have used old versions of OS's to bring usefulness to very old computers. Infact, the one 286 laptop I fixed years ago was later installed into a vehicle to control the vehicles own computer. This was a car used for racing.

Are you aware that many people make use of old motherboards for CNC control?
A friend of mine still makes ISA board for robotics and pneumatic control. The OS their customers perfer is still IBM's OS/2.
In Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's), the OS of choice is also OS/2. Many banks still make use of this for their in-person tellers.

Maybe the OP is wanting this old version of Windows to use for a CNC lathe, model railroad controller, but who knows.

If you do not understand, do not criticize.
