    ofcourse, its most likely that IE2.0 is built for the Win 3.x family, which was 16bit OS. XP is 32bit and using the NT core.
    Why would you want to use IE2.0 on XP anyhow, 99% of most pages will never load.
    If you want a load overhead browser, try Links or Lynx
