Thread: Click WHERE?

  1. #1

    Default Click WHERE?

It's been a while since I've been on, but I needed a version of Firefox prior to 3.6, so here I am.

I went to the page of the most recent not-3.6 release. It said the version name at the top, provided helpful links, and let me post a comment. I don't know how to actually DOWNLOAD it, though. The new version is a little confusing, and I don't know if you're just adjusting or what. I've tried other links at other products; same thing.

I'm running Firefox 6.0.1 on Windows XP Media Center Edition.

    Are you blocking scripts?

    I went to http://oldversion.com.
I scrolled down to "Internet" and clicked on "Mozilla Firefox"
On the next page, I selected a version and clicked on it
On the next page, I clicked on the green "Download Now" button, and followed the prompts...
Since I don't need another copy of Firefox, I aborted the download.

If you are running the "noscript" plug-in, or are otherwise blocking scripts, the "Download Now" button won't work, unless you give oldversion.com permission to run scripts.

There's also an issue with certain adblock scripts blocking the button from appearing, but we're working on fixing it.
