Just thought before I blatenly start one, I should ask whether anyone is interested. I, for one really enjoy IRC (Internet Relay Chat) and have a few IRC Networks of my own. If anyone is interested in an IRC Chatroom let me know. To access IRC you are recommended to download mIRC or an old version of mIRC. Linux users may want to consider BitchX which is also an IRC client (command line). For those that do not wish to download IRC, I will also set up a java applet to automatically connect to IRC.

If you are interested please respond saying so. Thank you.

Sounds good.

You can also use Trillian (www.trillian.cc) to connect to IRC as well as other things such as MSN Messenger, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, and ICQ

Yes, make a chat room. Once one is available, people will use and like it.

What he was trying to say (in a basic meaning):

Trillian (a multi-intstant messenger) can connect and allow you to use the following instant messengers in this one program:
AOL Instant Messenger (AIM)
Yahoo! Messenger
MSN Messenger
ICQ
IRC

A chat room would be a good idea, It would allow real time communication on site, Is this still a possibility? What do we need to do to get it to happen? This seemed like a start of a good deal and it seems to have fallen to the way side.
