    Current version: unknown (not currentely published) as far as I know
    Desired versions: For Win9x (there is a Windows 3.x version also)
    Description: TabWorks resembles a three-ring notebook in which you can organize, manage, and work with files. It has a table of contents, pages with icons representing different software applications and files, colored tabs and titles that group the book into sections, and a n alphabetical index. A ButtonStrip for launching files, a Tool Area, and a Holding Area also are included.


    Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I have been looking for this for years.

    Hi, as far as I know there was never a trial or demo of Tabworks, it was retail software.
    You can perhaps find it on eBay or Amazon.

    Default Fails to run under Remote Desktop Sessions

    Thanks for posting the download. However I am having a problem. When I am using Remote Desktop the program quits and error reporting comes up (if error reporting is disabled it closes with nothing happening).

    I have made threads on other forums but have found no solution:

    I wonder if 2.0 has this problem. I would like to try, anyone have a download for 2.0?

    Got the french version 1.1 of TabWorks that I had backed up from a Compaq computer at my father's work years ago...

    Can you please upload it?

    Does it read books made by the English version? Does it read books made with 2.5 or is the format different?

    I don't speak French, but should be able to navigate the interface from what I know and atleast test and see if it works in a Remote Session...

    Perhaps... keep in mind however it was intended to work as an alternate shell for Windows 3... Don't know if it will even run on newer systems, didn't test yet...

    Thanks for sharing. I will try it later, right now I am in Ubuntu Linux so I can't test now. But it does appear to work in Wine.
