    Program Name: Internet Explorer
    Website: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/
    Current version: 6.1
Desired versions: 4 with Service pack 1
    Description: A web browser.

If anyone could give me a link.

    Andrew Bob

P.S If ur wondering why i need this heres why.
The Program .... file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL:SHGetSpecialFolderPathA
Shell32.dll The error is caused by old version of your Shell32.dll. Program requires Shell32.dll version 4.71 or higher.
One of ways how it can be installed is to install Internet Expolorer 4 with Service pack 1.

Internet Explorers have been requested many times on here as a simple search would have reveiled.

    IE 4.01 - IE 4.01 SP1 & IE 4.01 SP2 can be found at this link.

There is no need to start another thread, which I deleted.
If you dont find what your looking for on the link, then you should just settle for one similar, such as 4.01 SP1
The files your missing should be filled in with 4.01, the suggestion to use IE4 is the minimum, any web browser higher than that would included newer versions, which is what the error message means when it says "Program requires Shell32.dll version 4.71 or higher."
Notice the higher part, this means it is OK to install a version of IE newer than the suggested IE4.

Or, try looking on your Win98 CD.

Wouldn't it be easier just to find the missing file, than to download the whole browser suite?

Note that IE has been requested numerous times, if you taken a few seconds to read the pinned topic, you would also see the suggestion to search before posting. Searching before posting not only reduces repeated threads for the same requests, but also gives you; the seeker, and answer if its been requested before. Saving you time from waiting for a reply.

Some of us still use Windows '95, so we are unable to use I.E. 6. On a happier note, I came across a site that you can download I.E. 5.5, if you would like to upgrade your browser even further. (from I.E. 5.0)
