    Default Audio recorder suggestion

    i need an audio recorder one like windows media player used to have. i haev a mic hooked up and all these new versions of everything that came with windows seem to be useless for recording audio. any ideas?

    You could try using CoolEdit which is Shareware or even Audacity which is Freeware
