w0w Windows 3.11
Cant you right click and choose DELETE or drag to the recycle bin??
Good luck
Can you get online with that os??
Don't laugh!
I have an old 486 computer that still does work fine for some jobs.
It's been a very long time since I made service in its Windows 3.11 OS.
The problem is that I don't remember (???) how to remove applications in it!
If someone could help me for remembering how to uninstall programs...
Gee! It's funny...I tweaked that OS for years!!!
Thanks

Hey Dude
You know...W3.11 is a bit like 95/98/2000 etc.
You just not delete an application like that and that's it!
You must do an uninstall action to remove it.
But god d*&%$?...I forgot the routine.
It's been a long time since and I'm coming old, well sort of!
Thanks anyway!
But if you have a clue, don't hesitate!

Damned! Even after 8 hours I still don't remember!
Some programs have their own uninstallation files.
For instance, Quicken 5 for Windows has an icon called "Remove Quicken". It calls up a file in the QuickenW directory called "UNINSTAL.EXE".
If there's no icon, look in the program's directory (and subdirectories if any) for a likely uninstall file.
Since a lot of people "graduated" from DOS to Windows 3.1 or 3.11, there may be some DOS programs as well. They can be removed by simply deleting the program's directory(s) and their contents.
If there's no uninstall file and it's not a DOS program, somebody with a better memory than mine will have to help you.
