Do you mean to change (transcode) a DivX encoded movie to WMV? If so, you need to remember that DivX is a compression as is WMV. Each time you re-compress a movie, audio you will be degrading the content.
If the movie was from a DVD, this is also a compression format, MPEG2, then if you or someone else made a DivX format of the movie, it has already suffered in quality loss.

If you just need to be able to play the movie in WMP, then the_gaffer's link so be what you want.
