Does anybody have a copy of this or know where to get it? It came with both my old Soundblaster 16 and Soundblaster Live! cards, but I lost the SB16 disk and the SB Live CD got scratched to hell, just wondering if there's a place where I can download it, there aren't any decent wav editors out there

ah, by decent you mean what? are you saying SAWPRO is not decent, or Sound Forge is not, or Cooledit is not? or are you meaning FREE editors.
have you tried the FREE audio editor - Audacity? http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

err..by decent i mean simple and easy to use. I don't need the advanced stuff in soundfource or cooledit. I have never heard of sawpro either. I just remember using Creative Wave Studio and it rocked. I'll try Audacity though.

SAWPRO, Software Audio Workshop (SAW). as far as i am aware is no longer developed, it had to be the fastest audio editing software, since it was coded ALL in assembly, which is tough to do and makes the program fast. Due to the price of the software $1,000+, it was usually just used in studios and was not marketed for home users, as CoolEdit was originally. ofourse it is not easy to learn, it was mostly for the audio engineer, who could understand alot of the techniques.
I found this link to a similar named title, this is called SawStudio, costs $2,500. Not sure if it is same developer as SAWPRO though.

Audacity is free, pretty simple to use. and very activity being developed, (last time i checked). Another promising app is Protux, it is taking away the dependency of the mouse to interact with the app, and putting controls all back into the keyboard, for very fast edits.

If you want a complex, powerful audio editing environment, and for FREE, you can get a copy of ProTools for free

for something similar to Creative Wave Studo, i think Goldwave is similar, not free though
