Is it me or is this forum *extremely* slow ?

Hello there ^^

It's several days since whenever I load a page on this forum it takes a loooooooong time to complete.

I know I have issues with my Internet access, yet this is the only site with which I have this problem. Is it on the same server as the downloads ? Is it overloaded with requests or something ?

So, am I the only one experiencing this or not ?

hi constance,i too have noticed this of late,unsure of the cause though.perhaps ablix will add a comment or give details next time he pops in.

Seems to depend on the time of day or something... since a few minutes it's running ok.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I can't figure out what the problem is right now. The server processes seem to be in order and the network doesn't seem to be having a problem. I'll be desperately trying to fix this. Please be patient with me

certainly seems to be time dependant,seems fine here uk afternoon,but later in the day it slows off and mornings especially can be quite slow with odd database errors.

We tweaked mySQL and apache so hopefully everything will be just fine now. I'm also looking at getting the RAM upgraded which should hinder any further problems.
