my friend has this more stupid and useless old old version of i-mac <_< and I was wonderig if its possible to install any of these msn or yahoo msgers on her computer or if they&#39;re just for microsoft?

What version of the I-Mac is she using? 9.2 or older?

AFAIK, you cannot use any version of the standard MSN Messenger service on anything other than Windows. At messenger.msn.com you can click on a link that says "MSN Messenger for Mac," and there are only 2 versions of it: one for OS X and one for everything lower. I don&#39;t think there should be much difficulty in that decision.
