    Default Writing Help

I am looking for a program that will help with APA format. I do not know any names of any. Any version will be fine, just something that will help with those darn college papers.

Well, according to the results I got searching for details on APA files on filext.com, it seems like this is just plain text, so you should be able to edit it with any text editor, such as notepad...

I never heard of APA format. Does "APA" mean, "American Psychological Association"?
You might want to include a little more details in what you want in a program.

The only good writing tools related to academic's that I am aware of is once for writing Scientific Thesis. Such as the various tools for TeX, Such as LaTeX, TeTeX, BibTeX. If the 'APA' does mean what I have described then there does exist a style for use with LaTeX

found this on another forum i visit .
The .apa file is an "archive" version of a PanelViewPlus application. I've only ever opened such files with the tools supplied for the purpose with RSViewStudio. As long as there are no more than 5 screens in the archived application the demo version of ViewStudio will be able to open it.
    ..hope its of use.

    Default APA (American Psychological Association)

It is a specific writing style like MLA. You must use it when writing academic papers. I have heard of a program but I don't know any names of any. It puts everything perfect for you ie. Title Page, Paper, Spaces, Citations! Citations most of all!!!!

Well, do you have such a file which you can share with us so we can check what the header (if there is one) looks like and maybe perform opening tests with programs we would have ?

Then look at the LaTeX class file, This should be what you need. It should handle all proper headings according to the APA specifications.
Plus you can take advantage of the BibTeX programs and class files to easily format your bibliographys'.

Although LaTeX is slightly challenging to a new user, it will quickly make you forget all about styles, formatting and allow you to focus just on content creation.

For installing a TeX environment on your computer, download and install MikTeX and LED
