    Default nBinder

    Looking for:

    Program Name: nBinder 2005 3.6.1
    Website: www.nkprod.ro
    Current version: 5.0
    Desired versions: 3.6.1
Description: nBinder is an executable (file) compressor, file binder, password protector, and an icon changer. Compress and protect your executables, protect and compress your movies, music, images, documents, and projects. Bind and compress executables or bind the DLLs and other resource to their executable. Protect and compress your files with passwords while maintaining their full direct functionality.

This is the last Free Version. All links that I have found point to trials of the latest commercial version. Thanks in advance for your help...

Looks like some guy uploaded it around 2 months ago here : http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=482 but the link is dead.
Maybe you can post a comment an ask him to upload it again ?

BTW, what did you use it for ?
If it was only to compress single executables, you should try UPX. I've read something about another program to password protect and / or change icons of executables too. If I remember well, it was a freeware too ... but I can't remember the name / find the thread back

Anyway, there should be freeware alternatives for most of those features, even if you have to get several programs to do it all.

    Nice ^^
    Didn't know of these sites
Though it seems to be version 3.1 instead of 3.6.1, at least it's a freeware :]

Oh sorry. The following link should work. But it doesnt seems to be a very trustworthy source. Its something like rapidshare for asian people. At least the filesize fits closely to the original file. You need to google for the original checksum to validate the authenticity of the file. Good luck!

    Default Thanks for your help.

Got it. Thanks for your help. In response to your questions. I am looking at this to "Bind" multiple files into a single executable. That is something UPX can't do. A SFX file has to extract first before you can run it. Looks like nBinder can take the exe and dll's an "Bind" them into a single executable which will run directly. I wanted to try and use it to make a single file portable application which will run directly from a USB drive. The experiments shall begin. Thanks Again.
