Cool Edit Pro Infected??

I use CEP 1.2a. The following message from Zone Alarm came up (I've never seen it before while using CEP):

"Cool Edit Pro is trying to launch C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwwin.exe, or use anothe rprogram to gain access to privileged resources"

Does anyone know if CEP would normally act in this way or not?

I think my PC got infected but I'm not sure with what or the extent.
