'Outgoing' attacks occur when a virus, trojan or spyware attempts to make a connection to an outside server without the user's knowledge.
so its a gud idea to have a firewall that covers both
Good Day: I have a Router-Firewall. Used to have Zone Alarm which is a software firewall.. I understand that a router-Firewall only protects from incoming attacks. I also know that software firewalls sometimes cause problems.
Question: Is it advisable to have a software firewall to cover outgoing attacks ?

You should not have out going attacks keep your pc clean run spyware scans every few days, clean up temp folders.
Your bullet proof with just the router it self, Having 2 firewalls is gonna cause connection problems and alot of hassle.
