QNX website no longer offer their free demodisk download. I always thought this was a fascinating bit of software. A gui operating system, stack, browser, dialer, and miniserver all on one 1.44 floppy disk. The last of these disks that I used even handled javascript sites. I used this disk when windows would occasioally crash or when I wanted to test a non-functional computer since no hardrive was needed. Kinda lost track when I switched to linux as linux for me is rock solid stable and I just never needed QNX demo. Well my old floppy copy has corrupted with time. Found couple versions on web but they are the old non-javascript versions and practically useless to surf with anymore. The demo disk isnt a direct download, you downloaded a program that wrote the bootable disk. There were windows and linux versions and modem and networking versions. I need the modem version, dont care whether windows or linux. Not absolutely sure but think last was version 4? Email me.
