Please read the pinned topic How to Request an App if your not certain on how to make a request, then add the necessary info back into this thread.

Search the board, this is been asked already and answered, in fact, its just 2-3 links below your post.

I have a screensaver maker that does the basic requirements of transitions, music etc but just randomizes the pictures and they are not matching the music, now what im looking for i guess would be a movie maker that has the ability to save a output file to either a .exe or .scr format, ive searched on here for any threads relevant but maybe im not entering the info right as im getting no results.
The pc i want to use it on is a offline Win98se that has no .Net framework installed (if that makes any difference). Freeware would be great, a small download would be even better.
Anybody got any ideas of a prog that would be right up my proverbial alley??
Any suggestions or links would be most appreciated.

here are four you could look at, none bar 1 are particularly small, ordered to my preference only

http://www.joeltechnologies.com/PSindex.html

http://www.dcatsoftware.com/mswind/dss/main.htm
requires Visual Basic 6 runtimes
pre XP version available here smaller download but has some documented bugs
Version/File 1.40b dcatsava.zip

If you want "pay for" there are a couple posted in this existing thread (but wait there's more) , I just input <screensaver> and any date in the search panel.
Look for member Pun on how to search.

B.T.W. what maker are you using it sounds odd that it doesnt have an ordered pics option if you'd posted the details a user may of had a suggestion that may be better than installing additional software (what am I saying that s the best part

Cheers for the links, the one im using is something called 2Flyer Screensaver Builder v2.1, strange thing is is that it does have a randomize option for the picture display order but even if you dont select it it still screws with the order you put your pictures in when it builds your screensaver  , what i basically need is a prog that will allow me to stretch the individual length of time each picture is displayed for so i can get the pictures and transitions to match the background music.
You sound like you have used the programs you listed, do any of them do what im looking for? (Would save me a whole load of time testing each one if you know already )

Your welcome.
No
I dont use them but have ordered them as I would if I was going to test on your requirements being mine (:
When you find what your lookn for youll have something to contribute.
If you want to find users of the softwares the best place to look is on the sites forums or put the softwares name and <review> or <user review> in a search engine.
You can contact the developer they may like to talk about their creation.
These things should be done anyway they help slow the process .

maybe the second one had individual timing but...
