    Default Messenger wants to force the new one

    Hey there,

    I downloaded msn messenger 6.2 but it is trying to force me to get the newest version. It won't let me log in. Does anyone have any ideas? I have Win 98 and my computer just can't run any version higher.

    my apologies as i havent the time to find the thread for you,but use the search feature as this has been asked before and a couple of threads had suggestions for avoiding the forced upgrade, in the meantime if i can i will have a look and point you towards them
