Limewire Illegal?

I just wanna know if I can get fined and stuff for downloading form limewire. I'm sure its illegal, but has the government formally accused limewire yet? I know kazaa's been caught, tho.

The reason I post this is cause I was searching to see if it was illegal and I found this article:

I realize it is extremely dated but it got me worried whether or not I should be doing this stuff.

using p2p software is not illegal,the problems are what are you downloading ??
many people use it without problems.now if you are sat downloading copyrighted material then YEP you will eventually get stung and quite rightly so.downloading such stuff is theft and you deserve to be punished,cds and dvds are so cheap nowadays is it really worth it ?? you make that decision yourself.
