Help With Aol

my aol is doing my head in. At the moment i cant read any emails or see whats going on in chat rooms or profiles. what could b the problem. where there should be letters there are sqaures. I am currently using aol 5

It's most likley a font that AOL doesn't like. I think there should be an option to change the font somewhere, try it.
