Please inform if you know where I could get older setups of yahoo desktop search. I have "x1_cnet_client_3565.exe" but sometime between 3000 and 3565, it was changed from limited free version for all users to 30-day-trial. I should not have updated... Copernic is not as good as yahoo. I also heard that copernic3 onwards are also "down-graded" updates. Please help by providing a free version of yahoo desktop search and informing how could I remove the current installation's registry entries.

The free programme CCleaner has a very good registry cleaner, which also allows you to save deleted items in case you experience problems.

Supposedly the last freeware version, I havn't tested it.Search the forum on tips on how to edit the registry & always make backups before doing so.
