    *Sigh*

    Ad-aware 6.181

    Vs

    Spybot S&D 1.3

First scan with Adaware updated fully: 81 objects found

Spybot S&D updated fully: 8 objects found

I use ad-aware because i like the way it kills spyware and it just suits me better.
Spybot always crashes for me. Ive never liked it.

    So ad-aware definately for me

What i think about the best spyware program is Pestcontrol or Spybot search and Destory..... Pestcontrol updates are good..........IF YOU CAN'T REMOVE A SPYWARE PROGRAM, and you use Windows XP Pro or Home edition..... USe System REstore that will restore to the perviuos state.........but it has to be turned on if not you have to use the spyware scanners.........

Also if you are infected by COOLWEBSEARCH use the CWS shedder, the problems are that your homepage get changed all the time... or popups........internet preformance slowdown. this is the link to download it.........scan it and see if infected...ifso click fix it.......that should fix it ....

I only use Hijackthis. I've been noticing spyware code-monkeys are hard at work, making fun new viruses (spyware) every second...and alot of the time Ad-Aware and Spybot can't remove all the spyware. So I prefer to manually remove whenever possible. I have more confidence in myself than I do in Ad-Aware and Spybot.

Just a little note Anti-Trojan 5.5.421 is now freeware. (It is an earlier version of a2 personal)

    Download the Anti-Trojan 5.5.421 program here:Anti-Trojan 5.5.421

If having problems downloading close the error message box and look for this link at the top: (I got the error message several times before I could download. I will look for alternate links for this progam and edit them into this post if I find them)

If download will not start in 10 seconds, please click this link and click it

    Other working links:

    Working Link 2

    Working Link 3

    Working Link 4

    Working Link 5

    Working Link 6

After downloading visit this site: http://www.anti-trojan.net/

Here you'll find the developer's statement that this is now freeware. At the bottom of this page the devoloper has included a KeyGen for you to create a serial to be able to register and use this program.

(One of the few legal KeyGens on the web LOL)

Take note, although it is free, it may not be useful for complete trojan removal.

Customers, who bought Anti-Trojan can get a free unlock code for Anti-Trojan here to be able to use it. The software is therefore freeware now. But no signature updates will be published for Anti-Trojan in the future.

I heard that AOL v9 is coming out with its very own built-in firewall. They released a beta of AOL9 if anyone feels like giving an opinion about it.

I would download it but...I hate AOL.
