I have a couple of old Juno Versions on CD-ROM (and may have some real old version on a 3.5" disks) if anyone needs same, e-mail me charlessenf@yahoo.com.
Haha, I've been using Juno 1.38 (I think) since I got it on disk in the mail in... 1993? The software keeps trying to upgrade me to the annoying 1.49, but I never let it.
If you need 1.38 or 1.49, let me know. They still work using the dial-up local access numbers and they work fine. They store mail as text files and are generally easy to get around. Oh, and you can hack some of the icons in the program. Good stuff.

Ooops. I didn't notice that 3.0 wasn't on there.
I used to have a Juno 3.0 disk, but every time I installed it and checked my mail I was force-fed an upgrade to 4.0. So I'm not sure that there's any point in trying to find it.
REF JUNO:
Recently upgraded to ver 6.0, I have win95B, it did not work well at all....that's how I found this site and re-installed original JUno ver5.? and all in well in juno land. I suspect it's not very capable with win95 versions. "For what its worth, my two cents"
 <_<
Thanks for the responses. Here's some background. I've got 2 computers (one running Juno v3.0 Build 13, one running v5.0). One my v3.0 system (using Win98), I can click on my Internet Explorer icon and go directly to the Internet -- bypassing the Juno software. On the later versions (4.xx and higher), I can't. Now, my other system is on the XP platform, but I think the issue is with Juno....
I've seen lots of posts on various BBS,s where users have mentioned a "forced" upgrade. I'm still using 3.0 with no problems. If you can enlighten me on something I'm doing, let me know. I just don't want to have to go through the Juno screens each time I want to check a web page.
Thanks again for all your help!!
Bernie
I tried Juno ver 6, via a download. Did not like it at all. Lots of annoying new features. It did not have any dialup phone numbers for Hawaii. I use roadrunner cable, so that didn't bother me. Went back to version 5.
The one thing I Hate about juno. is that when you log on, it opens the last message you were reading.
If you download new mail, it automatically opens the first new message, and there are a lot of Spam Porn messages that open automatically. Juno could stop these, but even when they come from one of their servers, they claim it didn't. Blocking a senders address doesn't work very well, and using the mail assistants to block mail based on words in the subject are useless. More apt to block msg. you want, that doesn't meet the blocking criteria, than to block messages that do.
