MSActive Sync 3.8 infected w/ Bifrose.Gen

HI - just an FYI

I went to:

looking for MS Active Sync 3.8 and found Microsoft ActiveSync 3.8 Build 5004 (3.8 MB) at :
http://www.oldversion.com/download.p...b3eaec729fbdb9

I ran it and installed it and Spybot detected the Bifrose.Gen virus in it

My advice would be recheck your system,All files are extensively checked before they are added,I have myself just downloaded the file you refer to and checked it with 4 different tools and they all came up clean,Did you download anything else at the same time and could of got things mixed up as to where this came from ??

I uploaded the file to www.viruscan.org for checking...
All 30+ Antivirus and anti-spyware programs said it is clean.
No positives, all clear.
