no, you dont have to manage Virtual Memory for Windows to operate, it will manage the VM on its own, but it will improve performance by dedicating a permanent swap file, with consistant Min & Max sizes. it will keep Windows from constantly having to resize the swap file, and will also cut down on fragmentation of the c: drive. as the more fragmented your dive gets, the longer it will take to locate data on such an older HD/System.Originally posted by Guest@Dec 1 2003, 01:54 AM
