If you would tell us what program it's for it would help better.
Looking for the "Last" version of Symantec's XTGOLD. Any help is appreciated. Also would like the manual. I lent mine to a "Friend" he moved out of state and so did my manual.
Thanks anybody or everybody
Jim

XTGold (XTree Gold) is a DOS file manager. It is a pretty powerful utility and made DOS file management much easier.

The last version I know of was a Windows 95 version, just before they dropped it. Unhappily I didn't upgrade before they killed the project.
So are you looking for the old dos version? (last one was v3.0 I believe) or the Windows? (version 2.0? maybe).
I saw a review of win95 version-it was Called Norton Navigator. Alkso, correct me-is XTGold rel;ated to Xtree-an dos file manager-and a modern version called Zrtreewin?
I found XTree Gold 4 on this website:
http://www.doslife.0catch.com/stuff.htm
(I didn't try it out the program, but I'm fairly certain that it's a DOS version.)
The web page doesn't work no more. It should be back up next month.
If you are running in Windows 95 or older you can use Ztree which is a 32-bit console (DOS box) clone of XTree Gold. Try www.cmdtools.com
