What I don't understand is why Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 is in the Extended Support phase and Internet Explorer 5.01 SP2 isn't.
Then tell me why they still have Netscape Communicator (32-bit Base Install) 4.79, Netscape Communicator (32-bit Complete Install) 4.79, Netscape Navigator Standalone (16-bit) 4.08, and Netscape Navigator Standalone (32-bit) 4.08 which are listed on the Netscape page. Download.com only lists the latest versions.
I don't understand why, but they probably won't have those versions on a later date.

That's because that there is a security issue that has been fixed when they released 5.5 SP2. And Microsoft doesn't like to provide support for old products like Windows 95.Originally posted by junk554@Mar 22 2003, 01:47 AM

We don't archive newer versions because the massive file size. However, I would point you to http://browsers.evolt.org , they have a great browser archive.Originally posted by clintoneist1@Mar 28 2003, 09:59 PM
